Advancement Survey Specialist

Description: The Advancement Survey Specialist will be responsible for the planning, implementation and analysis of reunion class surveys, alumni directory production and other constituency survey projects within College Advancement. The data collected from surveys will serve to inform fundraising decisions and assist in further engaging alumnae/i, parents and friends in the life of the college. The Survey Specialist will be the point person for surveying and analyzing data gathered from organized assessment activities. Some key responsibilities include auditing current survey practices, planning and implementing surveys that will provide meaningful data and analysis, recommending survey software purchase and negotiating with vendor, collaborating with colleagues to tailor surveys to Advancement needs, ensuring survey data is entered into Banner database, and analyzing and interpreting data.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least two years' experience with surveying, data collection and analysis is required. Management information systems experience and a proven track record of effective technological project planning and implementation, including end-user training and documentation, preferably in academic institution or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in statistical analysis is highly desirable, with preference given to candidates with Sungard SCT Banner software and HTML experience.
Salary: Administrative/Professional Grade 3
