Associate Director of Communications

Reports to: Assistant Vice President, Communications

Description: The Associate Director of Communications develops engaging, educational and entertaining material, print to enhance the college's image as a leading liberal arts college and advances core objectives, with a particular emphasis on college advancement communications. The Associate Director will play a key role in coordinating, developing and producing marketing materials to support college advancement communications, including publications, letters, speeches, Web pages and mass emails.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years experience in professional writing or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Broad knowledge of public relations and fund-raising are required. Superior writing, communication and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with web publishing, HTML, coding and Web-based development tools is highly desirable. Individuals must possess these knowledges, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Salary: Administrative/Professional Grade 3
