Profile

Randi Carine begins her ninth year as Wheaton's facility manager for the athletic department. Serving as the school's top assistant softball coach from 1999-2003, she helped guide the Lyons to four NCAA Tournament appearances and four New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament titles. The 2001 team advanced to the College World Series and finished third in the country. Carine is currently the head softball coach at Foxboro High School.

Before coming to Wheaton, Carine spent the 1998 softball season at Bridgewater State College as a graduate assistant, coaching the Bears to an appearance in the College World Series. Earning her master's degree in counseling at Bridgewater State in 2000, Carine also worked a variety of annual clinics and summer camps while coaching.

A 1997 graduate of Wheaton with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Carine was one of the school's top players to have gone through the softball program. Named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America first team her senior year, Carine led the Lyons to third place at the College World Series with a 45-7 record.
