Main Interests
Exploring the uses of psychology in explaining the past, and examining the political and social structure of modern Britain.
Research Interests
Completing a psychological study of three prominent British politicians. Volume one, on William Gladstone, has been published. Volume two, "Personality, Power, and Politics: A Study of Joseph Chamberlain" is now in completed manuscript form. Volume three, "David Lloyd-George: A Life in Conflict", is under way.
