Slide 2005 Event Photos

Highlights from our 2005 Events

Congratulations to participants! During The 2005 Slide's five-day schedule, over 100 trombonists in eight different states participated in seven different events.

The third annual Slide Heard Round the World!, an Internet2 celebration of all things trombone, was held during International Trombone Week (ITW), April 3-9, 2005. Thank you to our many old and new friends who participated this year.

Thank you to our generous collaborators: RINET (Rhode Island Network for Educational Technology) for the use of their videobridge and OSHEAN (Ocean State Higher Education Economic Development and Administrative Network) for Internet2 access and streaming services.

Please contact Colleen Wheeler (cwheeler@wheatonma.edu) at Wheaton College for more information.

The International Trombone Association is the largest association of trombonists with 4500 members from 50 countries.
