Multicultural Programs
Throughout the year the Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning, in collaboration with other offices and organizations across campus, recognize, honor, and celebrate the diversity at Wheaton and beyond, through the celebration of nationally recognized themed months, weeks, and commemorative days, including: Latino Heritage Month, National Coming Out Week, Native People's Heritage Month, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Lunar New Year, Black History Month, Pride Week, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern South Asian (APIMESA) Heritage Month. Educational, social and cultural events are also held independent of these themed months and weeks and include varied work with student clubs and significant work with faculty to ensure that programming is connected to the curriculum.
