Maekawa and Kinney also assisted Wheaton secure a second-place finish in the team routine, joining senior co-captain Jamie Olken (Brighton, NY/Brighton), sophomore co-captain Elizabeth Corman (St. Paul, MN/Hill-Murray), sophomore Sarah Swinkin (Hamden, CT/Hamden) and freshmen Tori Hay (Danville, CA/Monte Vista) and Esther Kovacs (Windham, NH/Notre Dame Academy).

The squad's B team, comprised of sophomore Renata Paglio (Portland, ME/Deering) alongside first-year athletes Laura Fleck (Auburn, ME/Hebron Academy), Perri Kapp (Yarmouth Port, MA/Dennis Yarmouth), Ru-Shyan Yen (Des Moines, IA/Abraham Lincoln) and Ru-Huey Yen (Des Moines, IA/Abraham Lincoln), took sixth overall.

Other notable results included Kovacs placing second, Olken fifth and Swinkin sixth in C figures, and Corman and Hay taking sixth and seventh, respectively in the B category.

Wheaton will turn right back around next weekend and compete at the United States Collegiate Championship held at the University of Florida's O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida.
